DIPLOMA IN ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

Electronics is fundamental to many of the electrical and electronic appliances that we use today. This makes the job of an electronic engineer both exciting and challenging. The Department of   Electronics & Communication Engineering   in Silli Polytechnic was started in year 2013, with an intake of 60 students. The Department has grown rapidly ever since its establishment.Specializations of Faculty cover all major fields like Device electronics, Communications,Microprocessor & Microcontroller, Control System, Embedded system, VLSI design, Internet Of Things, etc.

To get well recognized in the society by imparting high quality technical education in the area of Electronics and Communication Engineering along with developing a platform for ensuring employability of the students in the industrial and academic sector in order to provide better service for the advancement of the Society and the Nation.

Provide adequate technical and practical knowledge to the students along with imparting ethical and moral values in order to achieve our vision.

To develop highly skilled engineers who shall dedicate themselves for the progress of the society and the nation.

To enhance the aptness of the students to deal with acute challenges and formulate it’s solution with their technical knowledge through execution within a stipulated time period.

To guide and motivate the students to work in group and develop the fondness of group-work within them in order to magnify their team spirit.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO 1: To impart adequate propensity in our students for dealing with precarious challenges in the Electronics & Communication sector and chalk out their solutions within stipulated time.

PEO 2: To prepare our students with rigorous practice of technical workout for better fulfillment of the necessities of the society.

PEO 3: To educate students with high degree of technical professionalism along with appropriate grooming in order to develop excellent behavior and moral humanity among them.

PEO 4: To inculcate effective communication skill among the students along with deep technical knowledge of Electronics & Communication so that they are able to guide & act as mentors of their co-workers in the industry as well as academic arena.
